As an accountant at Anagami, you take full ownership of the accounting services for a group of clients, including:

• Online communication and correspondence with clients
• Monthly collection and processing of primary accounting documents
• Calculating financial results for each reporting period and filing VAT returns
• Preparing and executing payments
• Preparing and filing returns under the VAT Act, the Personal Income Tax Act and the Corporate Income Tax Act; monitoring receivables and payables
• Preparing periodic reports
• Carrying out audits and reviews
• Preparing and filing the documents for the year-end closing

What we are looking for

• A university degree in economics (a degree in Accounting and Control is an advantage)
• At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting (an advantage)
• Excellent command of MS Office and specialised accounting software (Plus Minus, Microinvest) – experience with them is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken English
• Experience preparing financial statements (annual financial statements) – an advantage
• Payroll skills – an advantage
• Knowledge of the National Accounting Standards, IAS, the VAT Act, the Personal and Corporate Income Tax Acts and other accounting legislation
• Good communication skills
• Organisational skills, precision and work discipline
• Loyalty and confidentiality
